In the business, the “Circle of Competence of a CEO” is the Knowing Of Industries and Business inside out.
In the stock market, the greatest “Circle of Competence of an investor” is not the Knowing Of Industries and Business inside out, but the ultimate “VALUATION”.
I really like your explanation of the Eisenhower matrix. This is a powerful tool that can help us be more productive in the things that matter. Thanks!
I stand corrected. Your info is correct. Although, upon further research, the stat about rocket launches, while objectively true, is a bit misleading until you read the actual math because cost depends on the type of launch.
I have a theory: Hanlon's Razor must have been invented to help people who watch too much [bad] news; Which is pretty much all news these days.
Focusing on an inordinate amount of such information does something to the mind over time; You start to think they're "out to get ya", or that the world is a cruel place. You start to think you've got 'haters', as it were.
You develop negativity bias. Or a 'Mean-World-Syndrome' as some would put it. As a result, it colours your perception of the world and people's actions.

This is not to imply that I'm naïve to the sad realities in the world as we know it. However, I would wager that there's just as much goodness & beauty in our world as there are vices & evil.
As a matter of fact, if we're to go by the law of large numbers, its an almost statistical certainty that the distribution of good and evil savagely strives to maintain a crisp 50:50 in the grand scheme of things.
51% evil and the world would probably be in the throes of a nuclear hellscape by now
51% good and we'd probably have gotten GTA 6 (Oh and flying cars too).

Obviously, I have no way to verify this (yet)
Point is, most people are just trying to survive and get back to their families. In all likelihood, no one really cares about you [like that]
Unless maybe your mom.
Be ye wise as serpents, but harmless as doves

Yunno, just in case.
But, like, chillll bro. Don't make assumptions of malice your default pre-disposition. That just sounds like a miserable experience tbh.

Thanks Mark!
Love this Dante.

Your #3 stat of 90% reduction in rocket cost cannot be correct. And in #4 it was Newton, not Einstein.
Would you like to provide some evidence for your claims? I've double checked my work :)

By copying Buffett, you don’t become one.
That’s why there is only one Buffett.
There are no recipes in life.
Cheers the that!
This is an interesting inversion. Thanks for sharing!
